Do you realize that this coming Sunday is the lowest attended Sunday of the year? The day of "Daylight Savings Time" is the worst attended Sunday of the year.
And that stinks because this Sunday you will hear a story before a baptism that is amazing! If you LOVE to hear stories of radical change in people's lives - you won't want to miss Sunday!
Don't forget to change your clocks on Saturday night, get to bed early, and help us by showing up at the 8:30 service!
I like to change the clocks very EARLY in the evening on Saturday in our house. That helps us get to bed at a wise time. Maybe you should do the same.

How about this.... Beginning several weeks before the time change, announce that Northridge attendees will NOT lose any sleep this year! Then once you have them hooked announce that everyone will change their watches together DURING the service instead of before bedtime. (you'll have to do it twice - once at each service) So everyone comes to church at regular time, everyone who forgot to wait will be there early for sunday school. The rest of us will have a full nights sleep. Better attendance!
