We are hearing a lot these days about President Obama's first 100 days in office. It is an unofficial media milestone where every talking head on TV and radio rants about how good or poor of a job our new president has done.
Well, I've reached my own personal milestone. As of Friday, I will have been at North Baptist Church (January 2001 - April 2009) for the same amount of time that I was a youth pastor in Harrisburg (September 1992 - December 2000). I was a youth pastor for 100 months. I have now been a lead pastor for 100 months. It's hard to believe.
Hi David,
Congrats on your 100 month milestone!
I know it hasn't been easy for you at times and some of us have not made
it any easier but you have done a great job!. We needed someone like
you to put some fire under us because our church was going nowhere before, emptying fast. I pray that you will love God with your whole heart and strength, that His spirit will work in you in power, that you will have a personal walk with Him, that you will have a shepherd's heart and you will continue to be committed to personal evangelism and you will equip us to do all of the above.
Many thanks!

David,
Just want you (and Sue, Ali, Morgan, and Emily) to know that we are so thankful that God brought you to North. It is hard to believe it has been 100 months.......we thrive under your leadership and teaching and are grateful for the way you have "persuaded" :) us to be flexible and change for the sake of the Kingdom. Thanks you for being our shepherd and leader. God bless you and your family.
Nancy for both the T's

Anna will be 100 months old this month, right on my birthday. She was born the month you came to North! The first time I was at North for a school tour I was pregnant and didn't know it.
